Sweetpetal bloomed for the first time May 1st 2008. Our 537 South Dearborn location was previously also a flower shop, named That Flower Shop. I worked there for two years, while I went to school. After graduating from Harrington College of Design, I pursued my design career at Steelcase, Inc. I gained valuable experience, and it ultimately led me to open sweet petal!

As I walked around the South Loop I came across a vacant store front... which ended up being 537 South Dearborn to my surprise. That is when the first entrepreneurial seed was planted! Step by step, with the love and support of my family and friends, I got the business up and running. My goal for sweet petal is to enrich peoples lives with the natural beauty of flowers. Sweet petal is a cozy spot for you to browse, a place to choose what flowers you want for your significant other, events, or just to brighten your day.

Please come and visit! I am always here for any of your floral needs.

Hoping to see you soon!
